I am! Slowly losing my mind! And or my memory. Hello. I've been up since 3:30AM! Crazy.
With our daily routine, house chores, potty training a three year old (success! I know, he's AWESOME;)- all this would be categorized as having "mommy brain". But throw in pregnancy (21!!!! weeks today) and I think it should have a different title. "Mommy (of 2 & another on the way, I am losing my mind) brain" or something similar. If you come up with a catchy title, fill me in.
Daily routine: Ellie is attending 4K, Monday thru Thursday, from 8-11AM. She is loving it. I am loving it. It's nice to have that little Mommy & Me time with my little man. I'm so worried that with the new baby, he'll suffer middle child syndrome. (it's 4:30AM)
Potty training Pooh went far better than expected. We started on November 1st and he caught on quick. Big sister regressed a little due to the extra attention little brother was getting. But nothing too major. She just wants some of the praises also. Which we're giving. We decided to go a different route than what we did for E. Praises, an occasional Happy Meal and a family night at the movies were the rewards, instead of peek-a-boo dollies (freakish looking miniature Barbies). Also, I did the naked potty training (from the waist down), he had a long t-shirt on to give som privacy. It worked.
Pregnancy: I am 21 weeks today. I am feeling my little pea pod be more active. Joy. I adore feeling little movements from him/her. I have an ultrasound appointment on the 29th of this month. We get to find out the sex but have decided to be surprised. I'm dying to know but will give it my all to not find out. This coming from the girl that would peek at her Christmas gift(s), rewrap and "act" surprise come Christmas morning.
Pregnant mommy brain: I feel so unorganized. I start one project but move on to another. I've been extremely tired (look, it's 5AM). I am getting behind on the laundry. It's like a mountain. I can't find my debit card. And I just paid a few (3) credit card payments that were due yesterday. Thus, the frantically waking up at 3AM because my mommy brain JUST remembered. (mental note to myself: call cc's and explain pregnant mommy brain)
But we're all healthy, warm, tummies fed and we're all loved. I can't whine about mommy brain too much. I am extremely blessed and extremely thankful for what God has given me.

Cinderella's Castle
October 5th
This was by far THE best day of our vacation-for me, at least. The first day was awesome because, well because it was the first day. However, this day was the BEST. Truly magical. We started the day by going to Epcot, wandered around and had an early lunch. Then we headed to Magic Kingdom, Ellie had a reservation at Bippity Boppity Boutique, which is located in Cinderella's Castle, (***note***there are two Boutiques-one in MK and the other Downtown Disney)darling little place for kids. She just LOVED! it. You walk in, give your princess' name (must make a reservation in advance)she gets a "Fairy Godmother in Training" assigned to her. She picks which Princess she would like to be (dress, shoes, tiara and hairstyle). Ellie, of course picked Sleeping Beauty. Afterwards, we walked across to the restaurant, which is also located in the castle. Now, whether you have kids, whether you have (all) boys and/or girls, I recommend you to eat there, at least once in your life, preferably dinner. It was a wonderful experience. You get to have your picture taken with Cinderella. Then, when your table is ready, they announce your name and you are escorted to your table. Kids had their usual chicken tender meal. For an appetizer, I had the assortment of cheeses- OMG! Deeelicious!! Chris had the "Best Beef Stew I have EVER eaten!". For my main course, I had the Braised Cobia over angel hair pasta, also delicious, Chris had the Roasted Beef Tenderloin. We both ordered the Almond Cheesecake, also, delicious. During dinner, four of the Disney Princesses come to each table, we had Snow White, Aurora (Sleeping Beauty), Belle and Ariel. My kids were in Heaven. But that is not MY favorite part. As we exited the restaurant, we were directed towards the front, JUST as they were getting ready for the fireworks display. We got to sit all the way up front, the best place to sit. The night was just settling in, the music started, the images were being displayed on the castle. Ellie was sitting right in front of me, leaning into me. Chris was right next to me, holding Pooh. Just the four of us. It truly was magical, very emotional night for me. My most favorite night in Disney World.

Pirate Day!
September 29
Since we were going to take
Ellie to the Bibbiidi Bobbidi
Boutique, it was only fair to do
something fun for Christopher.
So the theme for this day was:
PIRATES!!!!
They both sat still very nicely.
It was just a hoot to watch their
little faces transform into new
characters. The make-up technicians...artists(??) were really good with them and it was
really fun to hear the kids answer
the questions they were asked.
I'm always around them 24/7 and
forget that they are not only kids
but really, little people, with their
own thoughts and their own
answers.
This is the oath they had to swear: (Pirate Name), pledge
to be a true & honest pirate.
One who can always be trusted
NOT to be trusted, to run from
any fight I cannot win, to win
any fight from which I cannot run, to plunder treasure with a hearty
laugh, to swab the deck with a
hearty hand, to seek freedom
with a hearty heart, and to sing "Yo ho" in a hearty voice, and to discourage the spurious/ frivolous use of "parlay" in situations of conflict.
